Abstract
Chorioangioma is the most common tumor of placenta. Most of the tumors recognized histologically are small and are not chnically significant until they exeed 5 cm in Jiameter. But larger chorioangioms have been associated with adverse perinatal
outcomes
such as hydramnios, premature labor, fetal hydrops, fetal anemia, fetal cardiomegaly, fetal growth retardation, preeclampsia, abruptio placentae, and maternal hemolysis.
We present a case of a chorioangioma detected antenatally and associated with hydramnios. Color flow mapping and Doppler velocimetry of this mass demonstrated pulsatile blood flow.
